As the representative for the electorate of Maylands in the State Parliament, Lisa is an advocate for improved public transport services for our local village hubs and for increased supports for local businesses and jobs in her electorate. Over the past eight years she has fought to reverse the Liberal Government’s cuts to our local schools and healthcare services.

Lisa is the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business, Communities and Women. She is also Chair of the WA Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on the Commissioner for Children and Young People. During her first term as the Member for Maylands, she held positions on the Parliamentary Services Committee and on the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education and Health. Through these roles, Lisa has brought many important issues to the attention of the Government and has held the Liberal Government to account for its broken election promise to ‘encourage and protect disclosure of child abuse by bringing about a one-stop-shop child-focused complaints system’.
